Saturday: We did nothing. Or almost nothing. I was nursing two quarter-sized blisters on the back of my heels from the hike the previous day. Normally, when attempting treks of such length and difficulty I wear two pair of wool socks; this time I only wore one. I paid. After a late breakfast, The Child, Babs and I headed for the pool. Little One was either in the pool or the hot tub from 9:30 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon, afterward she played tag or hide-and-go-seek with some other children. At 4:00pm she crashed in the room and slept for 2 hours. Here's a few pictures of the ranch: The Lodge Looking From The Pool Pool Looking From The Lodge Dinner was grilled ribeye (outdoors, over charcoal), baked taters and fresh corn-on-the-cob. Desert was white mousse cheesecake (although one of us had her usual strawberry ice cream).
